The start of the year is here, yes 2015 already! Sharon and I would like to wish you and your family and friends a great year. Let’s hope it’s a good one.
As we were enjoying our well-earned breaks we introduced two new partners to list our cottage. They are very different but both are very exciting for us, they are Parent Friendly Stays and Owners Direct.
I’m sure you are familiar with Owners Direct but Parent Friendly Stays may be new to you. They feature a unique collection of child friendly cottages, family hotels and farm stays. All with plenty for the kids to do and something for the parents too!
We are very proud and honoured to be their first property in North Yorkshire.
Parent Friendly Stays was created in 2013 by a husband and wife team from Sussex. They are parents to three children and love going away with them on holiday to new places. But on occasion they have been down after visiting cottages or hotels. They described themselves as ‘child friendly’. Solely on the basis of a cupboard of old jigsaws or a broken swing in the garden.
They decided they were looking for something better.
Over a glass of wine (or two!) they came up with a very simple principle for a perfect family holiday: plenty for the kids to do.. and something for the adults too!
